Adopt a Black Labrador Retriever (short coat)

Black Labrador Retriever (short coat) Dog

Zoey the Dog needs a home

A fenced-in yard is essential if you wish to adopt this dog.
Zoey is a female Black Labrador, born in October, 2015. She is all black with a white patch on her chest. Zoey is a smaller Labrador, full of abundant energy. She is smart, eager to please and wants lots of attention. She needs a fenced yard to keep her safe, a patient family and some basic training as she is very strong. Zoey was on a chain for most of her young life so her new family must be willing to help her adjust. She is calm for car rides and a run to McDonald's. She carries her food bowl around at dinner time as she worries about being fed. She is good around big dogs, whom she enjoys hurtling over. Cats, smaller dogs, poultry excite her too much and are a no-no. She is very strong so would be better suited with older children or adults. She is a good girl, waiting for someone to love her.The adoption fee is $125. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/DogAdoptionApplication.html. We are located in Western North Carolina.
